Thanks to Julie for the following tips on
how to syringe-feed a rabbit...

"Wrap the rabbit in a towel if you think it wll
struggle and lie it on its back in your left hand (if
you're right-handed).  Sit in either an armchair or
at a table so that you have some support for your
arm.  Use a 1ml syringe - use several if you need
to deliver more than a 1ml dose.  Stroke the
rabbit's upper lip from the middle to the side and
just gently slip the end of the syringe under the
lip into the gap between the front and back teeth.
Empty the syringe slowly so the rabbit has time
to swallow what you're putting in its mouth - 1ml
is more than a mouthful for most rabbits.
NB :
Some rabbits will not swallow unless they are
the right way up and so will need to be turned
over several times.  Take your time and don't try
to rush the rabbit - I would expect to take about
15-20 mins to give 15mls.  If you are
syringe-feeding using something like Critical
Care or dissolved pellets, the rabbit will often lick
the food from the end of the syringe because it
tastes nice.  If you are administering medicine
which doesn't taste nice you can give 1ml of
room temperature pineapple juice before and
after the medicine, which most rabbits like and is
also good for them in small quantities.  It is also a
good idea to train a rabbit to take food and
pineapple juice from a syringe as it is less
stressful for a sick rabbit if it knows what to
expect."

I have been meaning to let you
know that Harry and Floppy are
changed rabbits since they stayed
with you.  They have been much
more affectionate and people
friendly.  I really do think that the
attention that you gave to them has
made a difference!  Thank you SO
much! (from Yester)
Just a quick note to
thank you for taking
such good care of our
beloved pets [Flopsy
rabbit & Holly hamster].
 They looked so much
happier and contented
this time!!  (Zoe)
Just a quick note to
thank you so much
for taking care of
Dillon while we
were away. Whilst it
is great to have him
back, it is obvious
that he has been
very happy and
relaxed during his
stay with you.
(Becci)
Thank you for all the love and
attention you have given Kabous
this past month.  You made it much
easier and more pleasurable to go
on holiday.  Be sure that we will
make use of your services again!
(Deric and Jacqueline)
I will soon be replacing two of my
standard-sized hutches with two
new giant hutches, meaning there
will be FOUR giant hutches
available for bonded pairs and
larger single rabbits.

I am also planning to clear two old
shrub borders in my garden and turf
them to make some raised areas for
the runs, which hopefully will stay a
bit drier than the main lawn!

We just wanted to let you know that the bunnies
are doing great. They are together and very
happy! We feel that you helped us with their
continued introduction by making their stay with
you a happy and comfortable time. We will
definitely be using your bunny boarding facilities
again.

A big thank you! (Lisa and Scott)
